End-User License Agreement
Effective October 20, 2026
RTOCore is business software for rent-to-own operators. By using RTOCore, the company that holds the account (the “operator”) and each person the operator invites agree to these terms.
License and accounts
RTOCore grants the operator a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its own business operations. Each user account is for one named person; the operator is responsible for who it invites and for the actions taken under its accounts. Access may be suspended for misuse, non-payment where fees apply, or to protect the service and its data.
The operator's data
The contracts, customers, payments, and other business records an operator puts into RTOCore remain the operator’s property. RTOCore processes them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. On request, RTOCore will export the operator’s data in a standard format.
Connected services
Optional connections — such as QuickBooks Online or a payment processor — are authorized by the operator on the connected provider’s own terms, and can be disconnected inside RTOCore at any time. The connected provider’s own agreements govern the operator’s relationship with that provider.
Text messages
RTOCore is software that rent-to-own companies use to run their businesses. Companies that use RTOCore can send their customers text messages about their rental-purchase agreements. Each text comes from the company that holds the customer’s agreement and is sent through the RTOCore platform.
Message types: welcome messages when an agreement starts; payment reminders and due-date notices; past-due notices about an unpaid payment; payment links to pay securely online; payment receipts and confirmations; returned-payment notices, when a payment did not go through; follow-ups about a payment the customer said they would make; pickup scheduled and pickup completed notices; links to documents such as an invoice, statement, payment history or agreement; messages a staff member starts and writes about the customer’s own account; replies to messages the customer sends; check-ins when the company has not heard from the customer for a while. Message frequency varies by account. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one message confirming the opt-out and no further texts unless you reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, email support@rtocore.com, or contact the company that holds your agreement. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
An operator that sends texts through RTOCore must have each recipient’s consent and must honor opt-outs. How consent is collected is described on the Text messaging page.
Acceptable use
The service may not be used to break the law, to store data the operator has no right to hold, to probe or disrupt the service’s security, or to access another company’s data.
Disclaimers
RTOCore is provided “as is.” It supports — but does not replace — the operator’s own accounting, legal, and tax judgment; figures such as tax rates, late fees, and payoff amounts should be reviewed by the operator, and RTOCore is not a provider of legal, tax, or accounting advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RTOCore’s total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees the operator paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Term and changes
The operator may stop using the service at any time and request its data. If these terms change materially, the effective date above will be updated and continued use constitutes acceptance. Questions: support@rtocore.com.
